Job Description:

As a Software Developer at Seron Electronics, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an application that ensures seamless integration with our company's hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and hardware engineers to define app requirements and functionality.
• Design and build applications for the Android platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong skills in Android development, especially with Java and Kotlin.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with automated testing and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with AI and AI-based tools.
• Familiarity with databases and cloud computing.

• Canadian Citizen/Permanent resident.
• Living in BC.
