New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a .NET and VB.NET Developer to design, code, unit test, and document custom .NET applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, unit test, and document custom .NET applications.
• Assess enhancement requests; provide work estimates and track effort.
• Investigate and apply code changes following accepted processes.
• Provide expertise in problem solving and troubleshooting activities.
• Perform unit, system, and performance tests; optimize code.
• Develop with VB, C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, and JSON.
• Work with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and Entity Framework/LINQ.
• Collaborate using Git and Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Proficiency in VB and C# application development.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC and Web API development.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and EF/LINQ.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols and secure coding.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging and code optimization skills.
