Summary
The Parts and Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the ordering, receiving, inventory, and distribution of parts, as well as coordinating and scheduling service activities.
Key Activities
- Provide excellent customer relations through phone, email, and face-to-face.
- Provide administrative, warranty, and parts support.
- Provide technical training to dealers and end-users.
- Design, develop, and create a maintenance schedule for sweepers.
- Design, develop, and create an operation manual and handbook for sweepers.
- Trouble shoot & repair the full range of electric sweepers at customer facility and or via remotely.
- Operates as the direct liaison between staff and customers.
- Provide repair and service quotes to customers.
- Ensure technicians' parts are ordered and allocated to the proper equipment.
- Enter work orders for internal machines, and allocate parts to specific work orders.
- Monitor and track outstanding parts orders.
- Run daily reports to monitor active units in the field.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to facilitate timely repairs.
- Submit warranty claims.
- Monitor and maintain parts inventory and warranty claims
- Oversee the repair process.
- Invoice orders as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient with inventory and service management software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, ServiceTitan).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Educations & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a parts, service coordination, or logistics role.
