The client is seeking a Workday Configuration Consultant for their Global HR Employee Experience Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing and innovating the employee experience through Workday and other HR technologies. Below are the key requirements and expectations:
Technical Expertise:
- The candidate must have over 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday configuration.
- They should be well-versed in creating and maintaining custom reports and dashboards in HR tools like Workday and JIRA.
- Experience with system upgrades, configuration, documentation, testing, and post-implementation support is essential.
- Advanced experience in recruiting, time off, and time tracking configuration in Workday is preferred.
Functional HR Experience:
- The consultant should have experience across various HR fields, such as Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Time and Absence.
- They should have experience working with large global organizations, capable of delivering solutions under tight timelines.
Collaboration and Communication:
- The role requires excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- The candidate must be able to collaborate with HR, Group Functions Technology, Compliance, Finance, and other business areas.
- They should be capable of presenting complex functionalities in understandable language to clients.
Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking:
- The consultant should be able to identify problems, assess risks, and develop forward-thinking solutions.
- They need to balance multiple projects and lead improvements in processes.
- Critical thinking skills to address root causes and recommend future-proof solutions are necessary.
Soft Skills:
- The candidate should demonstrate initiative, a desire to learn, and the ability to mentor others.
- They should have a deep technical acumen and an understanding of data privacy and compliance policies.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Global View, JIRA Case Management, and working in an agile environment would be advantageous.
Education and Certifications:
- While a bachelor's degree is not mandatory, Workday Pro Certification(s) would be a valuable asset.
