Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Details:

• Building a new plant
• Looking for an additional EHS resource to support employees in understanding health and safety protocols
• Field-based role, working closely with plant workers
• Responsibilities include auditing and documentation
• Initial 3 months: Overtime expected
• After 3 months: Standard 40-hour work week

Travel & Commute:

• Candidate must use own vehicle/transportation
• Travel to nearby locations is required
• For the first 2 weeks, candidate will commute (3 to 7 hours drive) to gain experience in an operating plant
• Reimbursement for travel will be provided

Requirements:

• Experience: 5-10 years in EHS, preferably in operating plants
• Education/Certifications:
• Safety training is mandatory
• CSO (Construction Safety Officer) or Canadian Safety Professional certification preferred
• Should be high energy, proactive, and hands-on training experience.
