Workplace: In-office role, Shawinigan Region

Salary: Base $65,000
Commissions/Bonus: $10,000 Bonus + Commissions
Car Allowance: N/A

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to client inquiries from the website, phone calls, or industry events, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
- Understand and assess client needs by actively listening and offering tailored solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on equipment usage and answer technical questions, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Nurture relationships with lower-priority leads (types C and D), keeping them engaged through ongoing communication and valuable content.
- Identify and qualify high-priority leads (types A and B), ensuring they are promptly forwarded to the external sales team for further action.
- Close straightforward sales or parts orders, ensuring smooth and seamless transactions.
- Prepare and deliver quotes, rental agreements, and process payments efficiently, providing clients with a hassle-free experience.
- Support external sales representatives by acting as a reliable resource for information and guidance throughout the sales process.
- Organize and coordinate product demonstrations, showcasing our solutions to prospective clients and generating interest.
- Research and target new potential clients, actively expanding the network and identifying growth opportunities.
- Maintain and update the client database, ensuring accuracy and completeness for future outreach.
Requirements:
- Development vs. Maintenance: 20% vs. 80%
- Road vs. Office: 0% vs. 100%
- Languages: Bilingual (French and English)
- Education: College or university education is an asset
- Training: Full training provided at head office
- Overnight Travel: Required for training and trade show attendance
- Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role or relevant position
Other Requirements:
- Must be eligible to travel to the United States with a valid passport
- Experience in selling material handling equipment is an asset
- Experience working with a CRM system (required)
Transferable Contacts:
- Contacts within the material handling equipment industry internationally are a significant asset
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Transferable Knowledge:
- Previous experience in manufacturing and B2B is an asset
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team
