Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Bilingual Project Coordinator to join our client.
Contract Period: 8 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $45 per hour
Location: Montreal, QC
Location Type: Hybrid: Onsite three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday)
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Update project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are on track and deadlines are met.
- Assist in resource allocation and ensure that project resources are being used efficiently.
- Communication and Meetings: Schedule and organize meetings, both internal and with external stakeholders.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute notes and follow-up actions.
- Communicate project updates and status reports to stakeholders and management.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project charters, plans, and risk logs.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on project progress, budget status, and resource utilization.
- Risk and Issue Management: Monitor project risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate the resolution of issues by coordinating with relevant team members and stakeholders.
- Support and Administration: Provide administrative support to the project team, including organizing files and documents.
- Handle logistics for project-related travel, events, and workshops.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- 5 years project management experience of transformational projects
- 5 years of experience within capital markets or investment management
- 5 years of experience in a global distributed company
- 5 years with large scale projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
