Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Location: Mirabel, QC, Canada

Salary: CA$40.20 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Shifts Available:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day Shift)
  • 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM / 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Evening Shift)
  • Friday to Sunday (Weekend Shift)

️ About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Mirabel, QC. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing aircraft structures while ensuring compliance with aviation standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled structural maintenance tasks
  • Inspect, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair aircraft sheet metal structures
  • Document deviations and raise non-conformance reports in line with company and customer policies
  • Identify appropriate corrective actions and coordinate them with supervisors
  • Participate in aircraft modifications and structural upgrades
  • Complete required maintenance documentation and estimate timeframes for repair tasks
  • Generate purchase requisitions for required materials and components

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Avionics Maintenance, or Aircraft Structures (recognized by Transport Canada or an accredited institution)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working on aircraft
  • Strong technical skills and ability to work independently with sound judgment
  • Bilingual (French and English) - essential for effective communication on a multilingual site
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in a similar aerospace role is preferred
  • Must pass all required position-related training
