About Us:
Canadian Executive Search Group Inc is currently seeking a Contract Administrator for our client, who is a growing engineering consulting firm specializing in Geotechnical and Hydrogeological solutions, providing innovative, reliable, and practical services across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams by providing clear communication and direction.
- Manage project paperwork, including contracts, reports, inspection documents, and compliance records.
- Liaise with contractors, property owners, municipalities, and public agencies to address project issues and complaints.
- Monitor contractor performance, review extra work and claims, and assist with keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
- Review design drawings, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and ensure compliance with project requirements before work begins.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors to provide clarity and direction.
- Attend site inspections, issue Site Visit Reports and Non-Conformance Reports when necessary.
- Maintain ongoing communication with junior engineers and technical staff to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Contract Administrator or in a related project management role.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain detailed records.
