Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Account Manager to join our Commercial and Channel Sales Team in Montreal, focusing on the East Region, including Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of VAR partners and end-user customers, with a strong emphasis on pipeline development, outbound prospecting, and strategic account growth across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a Named Account portfolio of VAR partners and end-user customers across Quebec and Atlantic Canada, with a focus on pipeline growth, new customer acquisition, and account expansion.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through outbound sales activities.
  • Build and execute detailed account development plans and sales strategies to grow ASUS share of wallet.
  • Develop deep relationships with key contacts across sales, procurement, and IT teams.
  • Conduct regular onsite or virtual trainings, business reviews, and strategic discussions to identify new opportunities.
  • Track and manage sales pipeline and activities through structured reporting and CRM tools.
  • Consistently meet or exceed defined KPIs and performance targets, including pipeline activity, hit rate, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Maintain strong discipline in forecasting, activity planning, and delivering Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and customer buying behavior.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Account Management or Outside Sales within the IT Hardware industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Distribution, VAR ecosystems, and end-user engagement.
  • Proven track record of building and growing sales pipelines, achieving/exceeding sales targets, and managing multiple accounts.
  • Experience working with customers in Quebec and Atlantic Canada is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a KPI-driven environment, with accountability for activity volume, pipeline conversion, and account growth.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong planning, forecasting, and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
  • Bilingual in English and French is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
