Working under the supervision of the Supervisor, the Laborer will assist the Civil Team with the installation of telecommunications infrastructure (buried cable, wire, or ducts) for various projects.

This is a full-time position which includes LiUNA 1059 union pension and benefits

This position is based out of the Bruce County ON.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :
Digging holes and trenches
Able to frequently use tools such as shovels
Able to complete landscaping restoration work
Aid with general site preparation and clean-up as directed
Safely loading and unloading vehicles with supplies and equipment as directed
Assist with the removal of debris from work sites
Assist with traffic control as directed
Able to assess work environment for potential health and safety hazards
Ability to solve problems and perform well under pressure and time constraints
Other duties as required

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Construction or landscaping industry experience - buried utilities
Civil, Electric/Electronics or any other related fields
Must have a valid Driver's License or equivalent and a good driver's abstract
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year long
Must be able to work on some Weekends and Overtime when required
Good verbal command of the English Language and great communication skills
Must be able to safely lift 80 lbs
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Must maintain prompt and consistent attendance to include arrival times for work on job assignments.
Must be willing to complete an online criminal record check to the company's satisfaction
