Dental Assistant - Join Our Modern & Patient-Centered Practice in Chatham!

Are you a highly organized and self-motivated Dental Assistant looking to be part of a friendly, technologically advanced practice? At Queen Street Family Dental in Chatham, ON, we're passionate about providing exceptional care using the latest digital technology, and we're looking for an enthusiastic individual like you to join our dedicated team!

What You'll Be Doing:
Work chairside with our dentists, providing efficient and seamless assistance during a wide range of dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms meticulously, ensuring all instruments are properly sterilized and equipment is ready in accordance with strict infection control protocols.
Capture and process high-quality digital dental X-rays.
Take accurate dental impressions and assist with other essential laboratory procedures.
Empower our patients by providing clear and simple instructions on effective oral hygiene practices.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Contribute to the smooth running of the practice by assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Level II designation is essential.
Current HARP (Health Acquired Radiation Protection) Certification is mandatory. Candidates without this will not be considered.
A strong understanding of various dental procedures and the ability to clearly explain treatment information to patients.
Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding time management skills to ensure efficient workflow.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients and colleagues effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Experience with Tracker dental software is a significant asset.
Valid CPR/First Aid Certification and IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) Certification are required.
