As part of a global aviation group, their Canadian operations are expanding, and they are now seeking an experienced Station Lead AME M2 to join their team in Vancouver.
This is a unique opportunity for a licensed AME with strong leadership capabilities to play a pivotal role in supporting daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of aircraft serviceability and safety.
The Role Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance (PRM) and the Quality Assurance Manager, the Station Lead AME M2 will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities at YVR. This leadership position requires strong operational oversight, exceptional planning skills, and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily line maintenance operations to ensure aircraft are serviceable and compliant with Transport Canada and client standards.
- Plan and supervise aircraft maintenance activities, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
- Liaise with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC), System Operations Control, and client Operations Managers on technical issues and aircraft faults.
- Communicate with flight crews and ramp personnel to address serviceability issues promptly.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with main stores for parts and tooling requirements.
- Document incidents, delays, and maintenance events in compliance with regulatory and company procedures.
- Support a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the PRM and QA Manager.
Requirements
- Valid AME M2 License with at least three type endorsements (preferred types include B737 NG/MAX, A319, A320CEO/NEO, A330CEO/NEO, A340, A350).
- Valid RAIC, DA, and AVOP for YVR.
- FAA A&P certification is considered an asset.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an AME role is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance tracking systems (e.g., Bi2).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
