Our client, a highly successful Burlington-based Canadian logistics company, delivers comprehensive transportation solutions across North America, including truckload, flatbed, specialized, port services, drayage, and transloading. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join their team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong HR experience within the trucking and transportation sector, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Role Scope:

• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Maintain and update employee records, assist with payroll administration, and support benefits management
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, fostering positive employee relations and resolving HR issues promptly
• Support training and development initiatives, including scheduling and tracking employee training sessions
• Assist with HR reporting, compliance audits, and continuous improvement of HR processes

Skills & Experience:

• Significant Human Resources experience, preferably within the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR information systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
• Customer service orientation and proven relationship management abilities in a dynamic, operational environment
