About the Role

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our design team at Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House. In this role, you'll work closely with our Lead Designer and Marketing Team to support a wide range of visual projects, from static graphics to motion design. You'll collaborate across departments, contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, and bring ideas to life through clean, thoughtful execution. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Designer and Marketing Team to execute design solutions across digital and print media.
• Create visually engaging graphics, including social media assets, website and email assets, in-store material, digital ads, and branded collateral.
• Produce motion graphics and short-form animations for various platforms.
• Support cross-functional teams by adapting designs based on feedback and shifting priorities.
• Assist in maintaining brand consistency & developing our brand identity across all touchpoints.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and creative reviews.

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in a graphic design role (internships and freelance work welcome).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
• Post-secondary education in Marketing or Graphic Design is an asset.
• A strong portfolio showcasing both static and motion design work.
• Understanding of brand identity systems and design principles.
• Ability to take direction and constructive feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• A collaborative spirit with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
• Basic knowledge of design for web or email.
