Adecco is currently hiring a full-time, on contract Procurement Analyst- Buyer to support a key client's Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in Lloydminster. Reporting to the Team Lead, SCM Upstream, the successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting material procurement for Maintenance and Project teams. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent time management, multitasking, and communication skills.

• Location: Lloydminster, SK
• Shift: Mon - Fri 8 hrs./day
• Job type: Temporary Full-time 12-month contract
• Pay: $34- $42/hour

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to obtain pricing and delivery information for Maintenance and Project Non-Stock Material requirements.
• Negotiate commercial rates with suppliers.
• Conduct RFQs for Project bulk material purchases.
• Expedite material orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve issues related to Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
• Collaborate with business units and vendors to support procurement and sourcing needs

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Material, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as Buyer or in material buying is required.
• Understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle.
• SAP Experience in Supply Chain transactions would be an asset
• Multi-Tasking - The role will require the individual to be able to multi-task, at times there will be overlapping workloads / deadlines that need to be balanced
• Communication - Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Negotiation Skills - Experience with supplier commercial negotiations would be an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
