About the Role:
We are hiring a motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor for a fast-food restaurant on behalf of our client in the Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team, maintaining food quality and safety, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Supervise, train, and guide staff.
- Schedule shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and mentorship.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure prompt and friendly service.
- Address inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Food Quality and Safety:
- Enforce food safety regulations and maintain high standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Optimize workflows and streamline processes for efficiency.
- Training and Development:
- Provide comprehensive onboarding for new team members.
- Encourage and facilitate continuous learning and development opportunities for staff.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare and maintain production and quality reports.
Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts (Day, Evening, and Morning)
- Monday to Friday, with weekend availability
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in the Food & Beverage industry for candidates inside Canada
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry for candidates outside Canada
- English proficiency with CLB 6 minimum
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficient in using technology relevant to food service operations
