Job Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead and support data gathering and analysis for projects for functional owners and drive improvements to analytical reporting in relation to projects.

Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will:

  • Support budget preparation process and rolling forecast analytics
  • Act as a key support contact for project reporting, tracking, managing, ad-hoc queries from management
  • Holding project managers accountable for spend, monthly tracking and analysis to ensure we stay on target
  • Perform financial forecasting to support decision making both for planning and value creation

    Job Requirements:

  • A university degree with a commerce/business administration focus or equivalent in work experience is required; accounting designation considered as asset
  • Effective communication, relationship building and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to consolidate, analyze and summarize large amounts of data from a variety of sources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build formulas to support quantitative analysis, trend analysis and exception reporting
