Full Stack Engineer - Pushing the Boundaries of Client Value

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure REST APIs using Node.js
• Architect and implement cloud solutions using AWS services, particularly EC2, CloudFront, and Cognito
• Manage CI/CD pipelines through BitBucket and related DevOps tools
• Review code and provide technical guidance to team members
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Implement security best practices across the application stack

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Advanced Node.js expertise including:
• Express.js or similar frameworks for API development
• Asynchronous programming patterns and event-driven architecture
• Experience with Node.js clustering and PM2 for process management
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills including:
• ES6+ features and modern JavaScript patterns
• TypeScript type system, interfaces, and generics
• Experience with JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Babel)

Cloud & Infrastructure Advanced AWS expertise focused on:

Cognito: User/identity pools, OAuth2, custom auth, JWT

EC2: Auto-scaling, load balancing, security groups

CloudFront: Distribution optimization, caching, edge functions, SSL/TLS

Security & API Development Security focus:

OAuth2/OpenID Connect implementation

Protection against XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, DDoS

Security headers and CORS management

DevOps & Version Control Pipeline management:

BitBucket CI/CD configuration

Multi-environment deployments

Artifact and third-party integration
