Business Analyst - R&D IT

What You'll Do
Analyze & Deliver Solutions
- Collaborate with scientists, researchers, and project leads to gather and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and identify solution options that align with strategic goals.
- Drive documentation and lead testing, implementation, and stakeholder communication.
- Visualize current and future state processes; propose and implement process improvements.
- Extract and analyze data, generating insight-driven presentations for senior stakeholders.
Lead and Support Projects
- Plan, coordinate, and execute small to mid-sized IT projects with cross-functional teams.
- Track milestones, identify risks, and ensure delivery of key project outcomes.
- Support PMs with timelines, resource planning, and communication strategies.
Champion Best Practices
- Advocate for Agile/SAFe and IT project management standards.
- Develop knowledge assets and process documentation to empower team-wide learning.
- Contribute to user forums and change initiatives that drive operational excellence.
What You Bring
Skills & Experience
- 4-7 years of IT business analysis experience, ideally within pharma, life sciences, or R&D.
- Strong facilitation, requirement gathering, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability in project coordination, documentation, and Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and tools like PowerBI, PowerApps, or Power Automate.
- Bonus: Experience with prompt engineering, ChatGPT, Copilot, or AI-powered solutions.
- Experience with Planisware is a bonus
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in IT, Business, or a related field.
- Preferred: CBAP, PMP, or Agile certifications (SAFe, Scrum Master, etc.).
Extra Credit
- Background in pharma, knowledge of the drug development lifecycle, or change management expertise.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and secure data environments in life sciences.
