About the opportunity:
The National Sales Analyst provides sales analytics, market information and business support to the Food Service Sales divisions. The position assists execution of the sales strategy to drive profitable growth by providing administrative and data support between customers, sales staff and internal cross-functional personnel.
The attributes we are looking for:
- Provide internal sales and external market information to the sales team for business planning, volume analysis, customer business plans, new business evaluation and product launches.
- Provide customer service, problem analysis and resolution, and internal communication for the business; engaging, cross-functional support for customer requirements related to demand planning, logistics, shared services and quality.
- Analyze current BW data and provide Supply Chain cross functional team with adjustments to customer and category sales forecasts in SAP to ensure updates are made on a timely basis.
- Responsible for all activity relating to customer accounts such as new SKU set-up, new account set-up and credit approval, shipping arrangements, credits, returns, invoicing corrections, pricing, shipping damage, quality defects, product information (general and batch specific). Act as a liaison with Credit department to help correct billing issues, especially those pertaining to permit reductions.
- Administer and maintain customer master data in SAP by entering changes and additions, and implementing continuous improvement. Act as Master User for SAP Flex and CBP planning.
- Manage pricing and forecasting on supply contracts by providing market driven price changes and future pricing and volume forecasts communication between customers and production.
- Responsible for coordinating trade show activity, including event registration, selection of the appropriate booth/display, and selection of marketing material/product range displayed at show, and collaborating with Marketing department to develop and create flyers, sell sheets, etc.
- Support the Sales and Trade Coordinator in all activities for special class and permit pricing for domestic and export customers and distributors by performing duties such as entering pricing into SAP, obtaining approval on reductions, oversee customer communication for price changes.
- Support the Senior Analyst, Commercial and Trade as required in any tasks related to I&E business including co-manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality complaints, monthly reporting, analysis and business intelligence.
- Collaborate with the Senior Analyst, Commercial and Trade. in providing relevant information to sales required for planning and decision making. This is done by liaising with plant and cross functional personnel to maintain ongoing knowledge of planned and saleable inventories, production schedules, plant capacity, storage levels, surplus product and lead times for customer orders.
What you will bring:
- University degree or College diploma in a related field preferred, and/or relevant business experience.
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong Experience with BW/SAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential materials with complete discretion
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with Lactalis Canada products and their basic uses with various customers
