Position Overview:

Alteris Consulting is seeking a skilled Organizational Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will blend organizational design expertise with strong project governance, working closely with the PMO (Project Management Office) to ensure structured, strategic delivery of client initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead organizational assessments, diagnose structure challenges, and design optimized operating models.
• Partner with the PMO to ensure alignment between organizational design efforts and broader program goals.
• Develop organizational charts, role frameworks, workforce plans, and capability models.
• Facilitate leadership workshops to co-create organizational strategies.
• Support change management planning tied to organizational shifts and project delivery.
• Monitor progress on design initiatives, integrating organizational health metrics with PMO reporting.
• Advise clients on leading practices across organizational design, program governance, and transformation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in organizational design, operating model development, or management consulting.
• Experience working within or alongside a PMO on large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of organizational theory, workforce planning, and change management methodologies.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Familiarity with project governance structures and portfolio management is an advantage.
• Experience across multiple industries such as, financial services, public sector, transit, healthcare, technology, or manufacturing is a plus.
