Project Manager
Full-Time: Hybrid/ In-office preferred, but open to the possibility of remote
Job Description:
This role is responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, creating detailed CAD drawings, and accurately estimating project costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in construction or mechanical systems, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee ceiling lift projects from initial planning through final installation and completion.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, and risk assessments.
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with installation teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
CAD Drafting:
- Create and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings and technical schematics for ceiling lift systems.
- Interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and engineering drawings.
- Work closely with engineers, sales teams, and installation crews to generate precise drawings.
- Maintain and update CAD files and project documentation.
Estimating:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project proposals for ceiling lift installations.
- Analyze materials, labor, and time requirements to develop accurate budgets.
- Work with vendors to obtain pricing for materials and equipment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficient solutions.

- AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of construction blueprints, mechanical systems, and building codes.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in project management, CAD drafting, and estimating, preferably in the healthcare, mechanical, or construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Experience working in a smaller company is an asset.
- Knowledge of estimating software is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits as needed.
