SALES EXECUTIVE-Edmonton, AB or ON

Clients deliver innovative architectural solutions and are committed to across the manufacturing, commercial, residential, and industrial construction markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for contracts across Canada, with potential to expand into the US.
  • Predominantly be working on generating sales leads, developing relationships with key stakeholders, as well as bidding on projects.
  • Involves working with clients conceptualizing, planning, and preparing estimations and creative design proposals for presentation.
  • Work with the executive team in finding new opportunities that align with the corporate strategy, identify sales leads, and maintain relationships with current and new contacts.
  • Will be provided with support to obtain new leads and drive new sales.
  • Be innovative, creative and a team player who can lead by example in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and has strong technical knowledge.
  • Detail oriented and can confidently support production, installation, and client inquiries as needed.
  • Work closely with the Engineering, Estimating and Sales departments.
  • Generating sales leads
  • Prepare pricing estimates for projects and submit written proposals to clients
  • Attend industry shows, conferences, events etc.
  • Participates in various departmental and interdepartmental meeting or training as required
  • Pre-qualify potential clients with appropriate questions to establish budget, timelines, and compatibility, prepare quotations and site installation meetings
  • Manage clients' expectations by informing them of company processes, policies, and timelines
  • Update clients of business changes such as product offering, pricing, or assembly

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in the construction/building materials industry, preferably with within aluminum railings & extrusions sectors
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Reliability, integrity, passion and in-person presentation skills with a strong ability to establish relationships and close deals
  • Exceptional, industry leading, customer service skills with a proven strength in exceeding client expectations and an ability to identify best product and fit for client needs
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and scheduling skills
  • High-energy, detail-oriented, results-driven, self-motivated individual
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Must be flexible with work hours
