About the Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will take an active role in driving the expansion of our Gas, Fire, and Flame Detection Systems across Canada-focusing on the marine, industrial, energy, manufacturing, and transportation sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a fast-growing company known globally for its life-saving safety systems.

You'll be part of a supportive, ambitious, and collaborative team-backed by Swedish innovation and a global presence in over 30 countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in your territory.

• Prospect and onboard new clients while strengthening relationships with existing ones.

• Conduct in-person client visits, virtual presentations, product demos, and contract negotiations.

• Attend industry events, lunch & learns, trade shows, and webinars.

• Collaborate with distributors, engineering firms, and contractors.

• Track leads, interactions, and forecasts using our CRM system.

• Stay current on industry trends, standards, and technologies.

• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field OR 2-5 years' experience in technical sales to the marine, industrial, or energy sectors in Canada.

• Strong "hunter" mentality with a track record of finding and closing new business.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.

• Excellent communication skills, self-starter attitude, and high energy.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office 365, and business software tools.

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

• Fluent in English.

• Valid driver's license and own vehicle.

• Willingness to travel up to 30%, occasionally on short notice.
