Position Summary
The Regional Director - Sudbury Region is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and supporting Program Managers within the Sudbury area. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and 5-6 years of progressive management experience in healthcare or community services. This role is perfect for a dynamic, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-program environment and is passionate about ensuring quality care and fostering team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to all programs in the Sudbury region.
- Directly oversee and mentor Program Managers, supporting them with staff supervision, scheduling, incident management, and maintaining program quality.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, client support plans, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure program integrity, staff engagement, and quality service delivery.
- Monitor and manage regional program performance, budgets, and resource planning.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration between employees and management promoting transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization.
- In the absence of Program Manager ( due to vacation, medical leave, personal leave or sick leave) the Regional Director will oversee the program and act on the behalf of the Program Manager.
- Assist with crisis management, staffing challenges, and compliance-related issues.
- Promote a positive, client-focused, and team-driven culture that aligns with Imagine's core values.
- Identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and innovation within the region.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related human services field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of progressive leadership experience in a clinical, residential, or community-based setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of care planning, client support needs, and documentation standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support teams through challenges and growth.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with documentation, scheduling, and incident tracking systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for travel between program sites.
Working Conditions
- Travel within the Sudbury region is required;
- Flexible schedule, including occasional evening or weekend availability based on operational needs.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually
