As a Sales Account Executive, you will independently maintain and grow your business in a competitive market. Success in this role requires personal motivation, drive, and building long-term relationships with perfusionists, cardiovascular surgeons, surgical nurses, and hospital administrators.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales Achievement: Meet or exceed sales goals. Track and analyze progress for the Quebec territory.
• Territory Management: Prioritize accounts, assess opportunities, and develop new business. Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual business plans.
• Account Management: Maintain customer profiles and account plans, manage customer training needs, and provide necessary customer service.
• Account Planning and Execution Strategy: Develops the sales strategy for the region's capital equipment and consumables opportunities and coordinates cross-functional collaboration to support product conversions.
• Field Team Collaboration: Support large, strategic accounts as defined by the National Sales Director.
• Administration/Internal Communications: Adhere to company policies, submit reports timely, and maintain hospital access and credentialing.
• Customer Training: Coordinate and deliver in-service training and support for LivaNova products.
• Travel: Frequent contact with customers and 25%+ overnight travel
Qualifications
• 5+ years of sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably in cardiac surgical sales or clinical experience in cardiovascular settings (e.g., Perfusion, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiovascular ICU/Critical Care).
• Proven experience providing technical/clinical support to cardiac surgeons/cardiologists or other surgical specialties in a hospital setting.
• A bachelor's degree and/or clinical certification (CCP, RN, RT) are required.
• Must reside in Quebec, ideally Montreal.
• Must be bilingual - French and English
