Primary Purpose:

As a key member of the Sales Organization, this position is responsible for development and execution of the Project business plan to meet the company's sustainable profitable sales growth in all product categories through the effective management of specifications, driving brand standards and sales activities with assigned key accounts and project influencers regionally. This position will require strategic and tactical thinking that grows share of wallet across all product categories within the Duravit Brand.

Role based in Toronto, ON

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive selling activities of the brand with Architects, Designers, General Contractors and Developers to generate sales to meet growth objectives.

• Collaborate with all national sales teams and agencies in designated territory to deliver sales results.

• Develop, lead, and manage regional project strategy and execution, in collaboration with sales agencies and direct staff.

Deliver Project customer presentations, proposals, and execute project conversions with a focus on delivering a "cradle to grave" level of project support and service.

Coordinate, lead, manage, and/or delegate proposals to quotations to generate pull thru sales at the distribution level.

Proactively seek out specification opportunities for project and builder opportunities and build Duravit direct key relationships to drive lasting pipelines and partnerships.

• Liaise with marketing and product development to identify trends, marketing intelligence and new product opportunities

Job Specifications:

• Required 5+ years project sales experience

Building Products and/or Plumbing experience preferred.

• Leadership and Management mindset with strong leadership, strategic, analytical, business, planning, problem-solving and technical ability

Demonstrated competence in account development, consultative selling, and negotiation skills

Strong analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to grow business organically

• Highly developed relationship building skills, ability to build credibility and influence within and outside the projects Team

Ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with internal and external customers.

• Basic plumbing knowledge an asset but not necessary

• Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and SAP / CRM systems.
