Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and backlog of a technically complex product area
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle in collaboration with engineering, design, and customer teams
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements using Jira, Confluence, and Agile best practices
• Think strategically and act tactically - balancing immediate needs with long-term vision
• Identify hidden user needs and pain points using data and customer feedback
• Serve as the bridge between engineering and business - translating technical possibilities into business value
• Understand and contribute to discussions around architecture: APIs, microservices, data layers, and system design from the Product standpoint
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure feature feasibility, performance, and scalability
• Maintain clear documentation using Confluence, sequence diagrams, and technical specs
• Analyze user and system behavior to uncover integration challenges and edge cases
• Ensure secure and scalable authorization and authentication practices are built into the product

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS B2B environments
• Being able to speak the same language with engineering on concepts and topics like microservices, APIs, databases, data lakes.
• Fluent in architectural documentation (e.g., sequence diagrams, data flow charts)
• Experience with authentication and authorization challenges that multi-tenant systems face.
• Exceptional communication skills - able to synthesize technical details into business context
• Agile mindset with experience using Jira and Confluence
• Experience in fast-growing tech companies, ideally in workforce management or HRIS
• Highly valued: Background in engineering or systems design
