Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wealth Management UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Testing Project Manager to lead and manage the User Acceptance Testing phase of our wealth management software implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, wealth management platforms, and UAT processes. The role involves coordinating testing efforts, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and delivering high-quality testing outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Lead and manage UAT testing efforts for wealth management systems and applications, ensuring timely execution and delivery of results.
  • Develop detailed project plans for UAT, outlining milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, quality assurance teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor and control project scope, risks, and issues to ensure successful delivery.
  • Testing Leadership:
  • Define UAT test strategies and plans, ensuring comprehensive test coverage of business requirements and system functionalities.
  • Guide test case development and ensure proper test execution during UAT cycles.
  • Ensure defects and issues are appropriately logged, tracked, and escalated.
  • Review test results, perform defect analysis, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all UAT-related communication between business users, technical teams, and external vendors.
  • Organize and facilitate UAT test kick-off meetings, daily stand-ups, and status updates.
  • Provide regular progress reports, key metrics, and status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Risk and Quality Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the UAT process or project timeline.
  • Ensure UAT processes adhere to best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements in the wealth management industry.
  • Ensure that all UAT deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are aligned with the business needs.
  • Team Collaboration and Development:
  • Lead and mentor the UAT testing team, providing support, training, and guidance.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment, promoting communication and knowledge sharing between business and IT teams.
  • Post-UAT Activities:
  • Oversee the transition from UAT to production, ensuring that all issues are resolved and business requirements are met.
  • Coordinate UAT sign-off, obtaining final approval from stakeholders before go-live.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), or equivalent are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in UAT testing within the financial services or wealth management industry.
  • Proven experience leading UAT for wealth management or financial software implementations.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and systems.
  • Hands-on experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Proficiency with UAT testing tools, project management software (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Trello), and test case management platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
