About the Role

Consultant

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a knack for requirements gathering, business analysis, and technology implementations? If so, we want you on our team! As a Consultant at PureFacts, you'll dive into exciting projects, working independently to manage medium to high-complexity tasks. You'll be the go-to expert for our clients, ensuring they receive top-notch, tailored solutions. In this role, you'll showcase your advanced skills in translating requirements, process mapping, and delivering innovative solutions. Responsibilities - key tasks

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, creating detailed design/solution documentation.
  • Perform advanced task identification, translating client needs into tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, architecture, and project management, to drive technical implementation.
  • Prepare and execute test scripts and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Deliver software demonstrations and prototypes to illustrate connected solutions.
  • Conduct complex ETL processes and configure technical solutions for medium to large projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
  • Conduct process analysis and mapping for medium-complexity business needs.
  • Develop detailed business requirements documentation and use case scenarios.
  • Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to align stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-6+ years of experience in business analysis, data consulting, and technical delivery.
  • Proven experience in leading requirements gathering sessions and creating detailed design/solution documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and ability to learn the configuration for technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate client needs into tailored solutions.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, architecture, and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with testing team to prepare and execute test scenarios, resolve data issues and work with technical teams resolve technical issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Proven track record of leading small to medium projects with limited supervision and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver software demonstrations and prototypes.
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members to build their technical and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement in project management processes.
  • Proficiency in process analysis and mapping for medium-complexity business needs.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive business requirements documentation and use case scenarios.
  • Lifelong learner.
  • Knowledge of financial industry preferred.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.

Measurements of Success

  • Successful delivery of a percentage of high-complexity projects on time and within scope.
  • Achieve a specific client satisfaction score or higher.
  • Mentor junior team members demonstrating with measurable improvement in their performance.
  • Lead a specified number of internal cross-functional training or knowledge-sharing session per quarter.
