Position Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for designing and developing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment provided by Samsung. This role will cover data validation and migration to/from GCP. Expected to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deploy cloud-based applications and services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies
• Lead cloud migration projects, including on-premises to GCP transitions
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure and efficient cloud infrastructure
• Implement automation using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or other IaC tools.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet security best practices, compliance requirements, and IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies.
• Work with other teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Trouble shoot and resolve technical issues in timely manner
• Collaborate with HQ about GCP environment and integration with local Data Warehouse (DW)
• Integrate existing data in local DW with data in GCP
• Validate the extracted data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Create and utilize tools for reconciliation, ensuring data integrity and provide verification capabilities
• Generate variety reports based on business needs
• Provide technical guidance to the business users
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP best practices
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education:

• University degree or Colleague equivalent
• Certification in Google Cloud would be beneficial

Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Since, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software, could computing and data management
• Programming language: Python, Scala, SparkSQL, SQL, Shell Scripting
• Strong knowledge of GCP technologies, including but not limited to BigQuiery, Cloud Storage and Cloud SQL, GCP Cloudrun, Cloud Deploy, Google Dataproc, Cloud Functions, Data Fusion, DLP, Composer/Airflow, Cloud Scheduler
• Proficient with Big Data/Hadoop: CDH/CDP, Hadoop, HBase, Impala, Spark, Cloudera Manager & Navigator, etc.
• Scheduling Tools: Cloud Scheduler and Composer/Airflow, Control M, Ozzie, Control M, etc.
• Visualization Tools: Eclipse, Power BI, Tableau, Pycharm, etc.
• Fluency Korean would be an asset

Experience:

• 7+ Years related experience preferred
