About the role
We are searching on behalf of one of our clients for a Functional Expert-Forecast to Planning (Configuration) to become a key player in configuring and supporting specific SAP processes for FTP/IBP. You will collaborate with business and SAP functional teams to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP solutions. As an expert technical resource, you'll coordinate project activities and guide all application configuration phases.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various implementation projects, either as an executor or project leader, and be part of a team of experienced SAP professionals. You will also contribute to the growth of the team through knowledge transfer and coaching, and you will support the Application Management Services (AMS) in extending and configuring key services.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Work with FTP team in end-to-end process in IBP for Demand, Supply, S&OP and Inventory Optimizer.
- Ability to independently configure in IBP: complex Key Figures calculations, Application Jobs, Time Profile/Levels, S&OP profile, Outlier Correction, Forecast Models, Time-Series Analysis, Planning Views, Rule Based Master Data Maintenance, Custom Tables & Attributes, Optimizer Cost Model.
- Understand how MD affects IBP and be able to support data team with & users with explanations on data issues.
- Support integration team, having high level understanding on how IBP integrates with S4 and 3rd party applications, CI-DS, S4 tables and IBP Monitoring Process.
- Be able to debug IBP problems, knowing how to find errors, logs, investigate & troubleshoot issues together with AMS and other SAP streams.
- Lead technical configuration efforts for IBP under your responsibility; partner with other SAP streams, AMS and functional teams to recommend preferred solutions.
- Manage IBP incidents and change requests, respecting SLAs and properly communicating with stakeholders the status, action plan, next steps and cross-functional topics.
- Discuss decisions and guided them by policies, procedures, and business plan; receives guidance from SAP CoE Manager.
- Maintain compliance with established SAP IBP processes, standards and best practices.
- Be the IT SME with internal teams like development (SAP and Non-SAP), infrastructure, PMO, business and testing.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or relevant areas from an accredited university or equivalent.
- 10+ years of recent SAP functional professional experience, including 5 Years of IBP experience and one or more full life cycle of an IBP implementation.
- Have demonstrated experience in end-to-end process and configuration in IBP for Demand, Supply, S&OP and Inventory Optimizer.
- Certifications on IBP.
- Be well organized and capable of managing numerous priorities in parallel.
- Must have strong management, communication, planning, and administrative skills; you should have strong team player qualities and be a strong self-starter who can deliver consistently at a high quality.
- Experience in the manufacturing domain is highly desirable.
- Must have experience in technical project management.
- French-English bilingualism is an asset.
