The Director, Business Development and Operations - Tank Trailer Division is a critical management and leadership role in the business. You will be responsible for business development and growth of the tank maintenance business across all locations.
Duties:
- Business development for the tank maintenance business
- Oversight of testing and inspection processes with a focus on safety, compliance and efficiency
- Technician training, certification, and ongoing development for testing and inspection services for tank trailers
- Sales training and support to expand sales coverage
- Parts inventory and stocking to support tank testing, inspection and qualified repairs
- Ensure proper tooling required for repairs
- Process development and oversight across all GoRight locations in Canada
- Leverage Mirlin Technologies process automation for standardization of work processes, QA checklists, customer promise dates and Transport Canada record keeping
- Ownership of Transport Canada relationship to ensure compliance
- Maintaining QA manuals
- Work closely with Service Centre management to optimize resources to achieve efficiency objectives and customer promise dates
Qualifications:
- Experience and certification as a B620 Tester / Inspector (Primarily codes 406 and 407)
- Sales, Business Development and Customer Service training and experience
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent with technical training
