HAYS Vancouver has partnered with an amazing client to recruit their next Transport Supervisor. This role requires a deep understanding of the Class 1 driving license in BC and AB. Please take a look at the following job description:

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee routing and scheduling of transportation operations.
• Manage and coordinate hired trucks.
• Optimize routes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and report on transportation performance metrics.

Your Profile

• 2-4 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong, influential leadership and engaging communication skills.
• A strong and personable personality.
• Health and safety experience and knowledge (this person will be the H&S Lead for the company).
• Ability to confidently lead a team of 22-27 truck drivers and keep reports of their hours, schedules, and KPIs.
• Class 1 license. (Asset)

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 CAD
