Your New Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Lawyer to join our team. In this role, you will:

  1. Client Acquisition: Actively seek out new clients through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts. This includes attending industry events, joining professional associations, and leveraging social media platforms.
  2. Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  3. Market Knowledge: Stay informed about market trends, legal developments, and industry changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice and insights.
  4. Strategic Planning: Create and implement business development strategies to grow the firm's client base and enhance its reputation in the commercial real estate sector.
  5. Negotiation and Advocacy: Skillfully oversee commercial real estate transactions, negotiate contracts, leases, and other real estate transactions, advocating for clients' best interests.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and other professionals, such as brokers and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
  7. Professional Development: Continuously improve legal expertise and business acumen through ongoing education and training.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate with a proven ability to attract and retain clients, and the desire to continue to do so
  • Member in good standing with the LSO

What You Will Receive in Return

  • Mentorship and support from an established "rain maker" in commercial real estate
  • Support from an established Director of Business Development and Marketing as well as the full support of the Partners and an uncapped spend on marketing and business development initiatives
  • Base salary dependent largely on the individual, ranging from $150,000- 180,000
