Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join our client's growing team in Kelowna. This is a hybrid role that allows for work-from-home flexibility while maintaining strong in-office collaboration. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to some of the most impactful and sustainable building projects in Canada - from hospitals and government facilities to post-secondary institutions and transit hubs.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design project delivery from concept to construction
- Collaborate with principals and design teams to develop engineering concepts and reports
- Prepare calculations, select mechanical systems/equipment, and oversee design coordination
- Ensure project alignment with codes, standards, schedules, and budgets
- Review site conditions and existing installations, interpreting impacts on the project
- Act as contract administrator when required, coordinating shop drawings and site reviews
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors; represent the firm in meetings and presentations
- Monitor hours, fee allocation, and project scope; prepare contract amendments as needed
- Contribute to quality assurance and enforce standards in documentation and design processes
- Support accounts receivable and internal coordination for successful project execution
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical building services design and project coordination
- Registered P.Eng. in BC or eligible for registration within one year
- (Senior C.E.T. s with equivalent experience will also be considered)
- Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, and Dynamo
- Strong working knowledge of BC Building Code, Plumbing Code, and Energy Step Code
- Experience with high-rise construction in BC considered a strong asset
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards
- LEED certification and sustainable design experience is a plus
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
