Your New Company

On the shores of the Okanagan, where innovation meets intention, our client is one of Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers and a leader in community-focused real estate development. With a passion for building vibrant communities, they are expanding their team in Kelowna, BC. Flexibility, professional growth, and a culture of care are at the heart of their success-and yours.

Your New Role

As Director of Health, Safety & Environment, you'll be a key member of the leadership team, reporting to the VP of Construction. You'll lead the development and execution of health and safety programs across multiple residential high-rise and wood-frame projects. This includes ensuring compliance with WorkSafe BC and COR certification, championing proactive safety culture, leading audits and investigations, and mentoring a high-performing safety team. With influence across all levels of the organization and the broader construction industry, you'll be a thought leader in shaping what safety looks like today-and tomorrow.

What You'll Need to Succeed

You bring 15+ years in a safety leadership role, ideally with experience in residential and concrete construction. A degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, along with your CRSP (or in progress), demonstrates your deep technical knowledge. You're a confident communicator, skilled at leading change, training teams, and aligning people with best-in-class practices. Tech-savvy and data-driven, you're comfortable with software tools, safety analytics, and strategic reporting. Above all, you're a values-aligned leader with a passion for cultivating safe, thriving workplaces.

What You'll Get in Return

A competitive base salary, annual bonus, generous paid vacation, and a full suite of extended health and dental benefits. Plus: paid time off to volunteer, a matching RRSP plan, a wellness spending account, sick days, development opportunities, and energizing company events. Work somewhere that invests in you-personally and professionally.
