WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Are you looking for new professional challenges to match your ambitions? Do you want to manage media campaigns outside the traditional framework?

As a Media Strategist, you will provide strategic media recommendations to your clients and contribute to the development of creative and effective media solutions. You will act as a leading player in developing a strong business relationship between your clients, our teams of specialists and external partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop original multimedia campaigns in synergy with team members, creative agency partners, and internal teams specializing in digital investments, business intelligence, and media buying;
  • Being aware and informed on the business reality of the clients and their industry;
  • Stay informed of the changing innovations and realities of the media industry;
  • Develop integrated media recommendations related to clients' performance indicators and challenges;
  • Being able to "challenge" the client with unusual recommendations that will help them achieve their goals;
  • Build strong relationships with clients and play an active role in building a performance media culture with them by familiarizing them with the tools and research available to us;
  • Analyze and negotiate the offers of the media partners based in particular on the various research data;
  • Manage client budgets under the supervision of managers;
  • Prepare and communicate briefs internally and to media partners;
  • See the implementation of project plans, timeliness, cost, and delivery (performance) of projects;
  • Make adequate follow-ups for the performance of the campaign (Performance reporting, monitoring, and management of material and other special projects/sponsorships);
  • Train the assistant strategist to different methods and platforms;
  • Coordinate the tasks of assistant strategists.

Required skills / competencies

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in media planning;
  • Passion for media and advertising;
  • Experience in advertising agency;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Creativity, curiosity and team spirit;
  • Good stress management, responsiveness and adaptability;
  • Leadership, initiative and autonomy,
  • Mastery of English (both spoken and written);
  • National and retail experience is an asset.
