Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quarry Manager to join our dynamic

team in the CNC stone fabrication and stone quarry industry. The Quarry Manager

will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Quarry:

overseeing all operations, both on site and in the office, managing workers, and

coordinating production and monitoring all quarry operations. This position

requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of CNC stone saws and

stone quarry processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of quarry workers on-site.
• Delegate and perform tasks assigned by the Owner to help workers meet

production goals.

• Keep track of materials and inventory needs, document all repairs

performed, and note any upcoming repairs required for preventative

maintenance.

• Assist in planning and coordinating quarry extraction and production, in

conjunction with the Owner.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA & WHIMIS regulations, company policies, and

procedures.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance,

and adherence to project specifications.

• Prepare and hold regular toolbox/talks and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within the stone quarry industry would be

an asset.

• Excellent skills in Health & Safety awareness, WHIMIS, and WHSE practices.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience operating a wheel loader, excavator, CNC stone saws and shot blaster would be

an asset.
