About the Role:

We are looking for a talented AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, supporting a major banking client on a large-scale application development project. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize secure, scalable AWS infrastructure that empowers cloud-native application development in a dynamic, enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of multi-tier applications on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda to promote scalable, cost-effective computing solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native deployment services and third-party tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
• Collaborate closely with security teams to enforce IAM policies, ensuring least-privilege access and full regulatory compliance.
• Partner with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into cloud architecture, driving successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on AWS infrastructure engineering experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Deep expertise across AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
• Strong background in serverless architectures and AWS Lambda deployments.
• Proven experience developing CI/CD pipelines with AWS-native tools and third-party DevOps platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure is considered an asset.

Location: 2 days onsite, Downtown Toronto, ON

Contract Duration: 12 months (with strong possibility of extension or FTE conversion)

Schedule: Monday - Friday
