Job Responsibilities:
- Develop PLC programs using ladder logic and other methodologies for equipment and associated functions.
- Design and create HMI applications.
- Design and review PLC network architecture.
- Configure AC/DC drives.
- Integrate legacy drives, controls, and equipment.
- Assist in the creation of technical product documentation and information.
- Conduct in-house testing of software and systems.
- Provide on-site support during system start-up and commissioning.
- Offer remote and on-site customer support as needed.
- Assist in pre-study analysis and reports in collaboration with sales teams.
- Communicate with customers as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects and assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a focus on controls.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Proficiency in AC/DC drive systems, PCs, and PLC systems (experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens is a plus).
- Previous experience with AutoCAD, PLCs, AC/DC drive systems, and supervisory control systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial control networks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
