We are currently looking for a Chief Operating Engineer to collaborate with one of our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and foster the growth of Operating Engineers.
• Lead investigations into root causes of incidents leading to downtime.
• Develop capital project budgets and provide project management support as needed.
• Oversee operations of Boiler and Refrigeration Plants.
• Serve as a point of contact with TSSA, communicating any issues, regulatory updates, and corporate requirements to Facility Leadership.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team.
• Manage timekeeping, vacation scheduling, and performance evaluations for the team, supporting their professional growth.

Requirements:

• Substantial experience of over 5+ years in departmental roles.
• Leadership background of at least 3 years, either in direct supervision or team leadership.
• 2nd class power Engineer or 3rd class power Engineer with Refrigeration A manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and timelines with diverse stakeholders.
