About Us:
At Microserve, located at Dominion St, Burnaby, BC V5G 4G3, we are seeking a Campaign & Event Marketing Specialist (NOC 11202). This position involves planning and executing strategic marketing campaigns and external events, such as tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and industry events.
Position Overview:
- Title: Campaign & Event Marketing Specialist
- Type: Full-time (40 hr/wk), permanent
- Hourly Wage: $36.60/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate multi-touch demand generation campaigns, including tracking, optimizing, and reporting results.
- Manage post-campaign analysis to measure effectiveness and report outcomes.
- Lead the planning and execution of all external marketing events (webinars, lunch & learns, tradeshows, exhibitions, speaking engagements).
- Advise the Marketing Manager on marketing strategies, channels, and opportunities for growth.
- Assist in developing content and inbound marketing strategies to generate inbound leads.
- Develop sales enablement tools and assets (brochures, flyers, infographics, battle cards, videos).
- Collaborate with the Web Developer and SEO Specialist on paid campaigns across all Microserve social channels.
- Support the Marketing Manager in developing MDF-funded marketing proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing budget tracking and reporting.
- Assist with the design and branding of marketing materials and graphics, such as email invitations, event signage, and social media posts.
- Generate KPI reports as requested.
- Assist in training, onboarding, and mentoring new marketing team members.
- Provide general support for other marketing tasks as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR, Communication, or other Business discipline is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
Asset Qualifications:
- Understanding of social media platforms and their role in the marketing funnel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to provide creative direction for various marketing materials and assets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Publisher, Photoshop) is an asset.
- Knowledge or experience in the technology industry is a plus.
