Dawn InfoTek Inc . is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms and government sectors. We have been dedicated to delivering cutting-edge consulting services and recruiting all levels of IT positions for our clients.

We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Pega UI Developer to join our dynamic team for our client.

Location Address: Hybrid, contractor is required to come into the office 3 days per week Min.
Contract Duration: ASAP till Oct 31st, 2024
Possibility of extension: Possibly

Pay rate: $70/hr - $90/hr + HST

Responsibilities:
Work with the development team, business analysts, and businesses to capture the screens of Pega UI
Resolve the UI challenges encounter during the Pega upgrade.
Work with the Pega Vendor to come up with solutions around the Pega UI
Collaborate with business analysts and end users to understand project requirements and translate them into Pega UI designs.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
10+ years of proven experience as a Pega UI developer with strong proficiency in Pega UI technologies such as PRPC, Pega UI framework, and Pega Designer Studio.

8+ years of experience in designing, solutions, and building user-friendly and responsive UI applications with Pega Cosmos and Pega user interface.

5+ years of experience in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles. Knowledge of Angular and React technologies is an added advantage.

5+ years of experience with UX design principles and best practices. Integrate best practices into current PEGA development procedures and work based on brand guidelines. Customize and enhance existing Pega UI components to meet specific project requirements with attention to detail to match the exact UX wireframe.

5+ years of experience working with accessibility guidelines and implementing applications adhering to AODA, AMA, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 AA.

3+ work experience conducting usability testing on focus groups to deliver the best possible user experience.

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Banking and insurance domain knowledge is preferred.
• Participate in Agile software development sprints and sprint planning activities with elaborate working knowledge in Application Development Life Cycle phases like requirement analysis, implementation, and estimation of projects and roadmap.

Soft Skills Required:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
• Strong decision-making, forward-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.

Education:
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related IT field required
