Founded in 2019, Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy is a proudly Canadian company, comprised of healthcare professionals with extensive specialty medication experience with a location in Mississauga, Ontario, and another opening soon in Calgary, Alberta. We are a distinctive healthcare company, with patient relationship skills that set us apart. We mainly deal with patients who require biologics/specialty medications used in the treatment of chronic medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, urticaria, ulcerative colitis, and many others.

At Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy, we provide patient-centric healthcare and assist patients in overcoming the challenges of specialty pharmacy. We utilize innovative strategies to deliver patients access to specialized therapy in a cost-effective, timely and caring manner leading to improved adherence, therapeutic success and overall well-being.

About the job:

Reporting to the Logistics lead, the Specialty Logistics Coordinator is responsible for undertaking the management, planning and coordination of all delivery and facility operations (Clinics, Logistics and Pharmacy) assigned to him/her, within Rx Connect Specialty operations.

Job Duties:

Coordinating and monitoring deliveries
Talk to customers and ensure that medicines reach the patients in time
Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes
Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvement
Coordinate with courier companies, drivers,s, and clinics for timely and efficient deliveries.
Create weekly/ monthly reports

_ MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: _

Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
Effective organizational skills; attention to detail
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
