Coordinator, Engineering - 6 Month Contract

6 Month Contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Coordinate all work orders entries, reduce/eliminate the entry error
-Preparing 536A, code creation forms from the order entries
-Filing all work orders documentation/communication, including quotes, BOMs, project specification, signed approved drawing, testing checking list - all digital and hard copies
-Updating backlog, and distributing weekly
-Preparing work orders status report, Work Order Log Updated, serial numbers log
-Updating Price Lists and distribute with salespeople per change request or price update
-Coordination between EQD and Service. Sending weekly request for all heads set up, spare heads and heads for system.
-Establish and maintain a process to improve communication between EQD and Customer Service, to decrease time/cost spent on projects that can be directed to customer service.
-Discuss and contact the sales representatives to clarify the scope of requested work
-Communicate all the work orders entry's changes/revisions with the team
-Prepare all proper packing lists for shipments
-Communicate the shipments with Credit Department and ensure credit release before shipment
-Improve time management, document daily tasks so the time can be effectively divided to manage all duties.
-Creating SOs and SPs for each Work orders and revisions,
-Issuing invoices, coordinate with credit department for invoices sending and payment status
-Requesting manuals for engineering, providing manuals for production and ensure all document provided before packing
-Documenting heads serial numbers and machine serial number
-Coordinate all work orders entries, reduce/eliminate the entry errors
-Generate reports as needed, including job cost breakdown, weekly sales order performance, and parts flow through the system.
-Attending to production meeting, providing work order status reports for all attending to meeting, hosting Teams meetings, creating meeting minutes
-Issuing work order sign offs, scheduling for sign off meetings
-Attending and providing the support for all the 536A orders reviews.
-Enforce 24/7 training to all employees at EQD, ensuring to have at least a H&S walk every month
-Prepare safety talk for shop employees, communicating them after Safety talk test and discuss their errors.
-Establish Safety Walk forms, Hazard recognition forms, SSOP.
-Safety Audit with safety committee and mangers
-Accompany Safety Committee to complete Safety Walk, SSOP, Hazard recognition forms.
-Reporting accident and incident to Safety team.
-Assist Safety Committee with any additional request and help required.
-Health and Safety minutes of the meetings

CAID Transition support

-Communicating with CAID for their requisitions, providing their needs in a proper time
-Provide CAID with all the information's for the work orders being built in Hermosillo, MX
-Ensure the credit status before shipment for CAID orders, updating them with new status
-Preparing packing lists for all CAID material shipment request
Purchasing:
-Processing BOMs for WO to placing orders and refill stock
-Processing BOM for stock orders
-Purchasing items for Work orders, confirming arrival time with supplier
-Purchasing stock orders and communicating with supplier
-Follow up with supplier for back orders weekly basis to ensure orders will come in proper time and not interfere with production schedule
-Assist purchasing to issue PO's when required
-Continuously updating standard costs per supplier's Quote
-Continuously improving purchasing process, to reduce delays on goods.
-Preparing RFQ for different supplier to get better price
-Placing stock transfer from 2420, for work order spare parts
-Creating Packing Lists for all the shipments of the spare parts

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

-College/University diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience
-Ability to read mechanical drawings and relate content of drawings to competency of outside suppliers.
-Experience using an MRP or ERP (knowledge of JD Edwards is an asset)
-Ability to use the CAD software AutoCAD and SolidWorks
-Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
-Data Analysis
-Strong attention to detail; high level of accuracy
-Good communications skills
