We are hiring a Senior Manager within our IT Quality Assurance Department!
Reporting To: Assistant Vice President
Full-Time/Part- Time: Full-time

The Opportunity
As the Senior Manager, IT Business Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology solutions and business needs. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of IT Applications, you will lead a team of skilled business analysts in understanding, analyzing, and translating complex business requirements into technical specifications. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving projects forward, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and delivering innovative IT solutions.

How you will contribute:
• Business Analysis Leadership: Ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to a team of business analysts, ensuring their professional development and success.
• Team Development: Capacity to identify skill gaps within the team, design training programs, and provide ongoing coaching to enhance individual and team performance.
• Performance Evaluation: Ability to establish clear performance metrics and evaluation criteria, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Requirements Management: Proficiency in leading requirements gathering sessions, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and feasibility of requirements, and guiding team members in this process.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Skill in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and priorities, and guiding team members in effective stakeholder management.
• Project Oversight: Skill in overseeing and managing business analysis projects, including setting objectives, allocating resources, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
• Technical Expertise: Depth of knowledge in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, enabling effective guidance and support for team members in their technical endeavors.
• Problem-solving Leadership: Ability to lead the team in identifying and solving complex business problems, leveraging innovative approaches, and encouraging collaboration.
• Change Management: Proficiency in managing organizational change, including assessing impacts, developing change management strategies, and guiding team members through change initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Communication and Collaboration Skills: Effective communication for cross-functional team collaboration and strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Grasps new concepts quickly, meticulous attention to detail and a strong ability to problem solve and think independently.
• Adaptability and Resilience: Flexibility in handling shifting priorities and ambiguity, efficient management of escalations and high-pressure situations.

The experience you need:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Business Analysis.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in management or equivalent leadership role within an IT Business Analysis team.
• Strong and effective communication skills, which is crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• People Management experience is essential in this role as you will be required for providing guidance and fostering the growth and development of the team.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional)
• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Agile Certified Practitioner)
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and best practices.
• Proficiency in agile practices and the Scrum framework.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and other industry-leading tools and software for business analysis.

Working Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:
• Office environment
• Periods of high volume with tight timelines
• Long periods of stationary position/sitting
• Prolonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)
• Long periods of time in viewing a computer screen
• Multi-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer program
