We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our Control Centre Technology Systems Department in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Responsibilities:

- Develop compliance policy and procedure for the implementation and monitoring of EMS CIP, CSA Z246.1, and ICS risk
management program procedures.

- Lead and support cross-functional teams to gather, review, and submit necessary data to support compliance program
activities and initiatives.

- Work with stakeholders to establish and document clear roles and responsibilities for compliance tasks, document compliance
practices, monitor on-going compliance.

- Identify and initiate corrective actions for instances of non-compliance.
- Determine measures and conduct studies on processes and procedures to increase system reliability and reduce the risk of

non-compliance.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and training regarding compliance activities, programs, and requirements to internal

stakeholders.
- Function as a compliance specialist and consult for capital projects that may impact in scope assets.
- Participate in the support, maintenance, and development of compliance related technology systems including Security

Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM) and
- Configuration Management Database (CMDB) systems.
- Keep abreast of Information Technology advances and methods used to maintain and enhance EMS and Gas SCADA OT

systems. Be a leader in optimizing complex compliance activities and processes through technology innovation.
- As required, provide technical expertise where appropriate for day-to-day operational support work.
- As required, provide 24-hour support (standby) to the System Control Centre as part of the EMS Infrastructure & Applications

on call rotation.

Qualifications:

- A two-year Diploma in Computer Programming or Electronic or Computer Technology from an institute of recognized standing
and a minimum of five-years directly related experience.
OR

- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must have completed Standards of Conduct training or be willing to complete within two weeks of start date.
- Obtain and maintain a current Personnel Risk Assessment and a "Clear" security rating in accordance with Manitoba Hydro

policy P513.
- Knowledge of gas SCADA/control systems is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in providing technical guidance and problem management skills to the ongoing operations of

computer systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the support and maintenance of products such as Splunk, SQL Server, Serviceaide

(ChangeGear), Visual Studio .Net, PowerShell, Internet Information Server, VMware, SANs, scripting tools and utilities would
be an asset.

- Demonstrated effectiveness in providing technical guidance and problem management skills to the ongoing operations of
computer systems.

- Demonstrated knowledge of NERC CIP standards and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several concurrent tasks in an efficient and organized manner.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with external and internal contacts in multiple

departments and positions.
- Demonstrated initiative and enthusiasm in handling involved and complex technical problems.
- Adept in the latest technological developments, continuously update and maintain technical knowledge in keeping with the

changing technology. Be a leader in optimizing complex work processes through technology innovation.
- Must be willing to work long and unusual hours as part of standby rotation.
- Possess a valid Manitoba Driver's Licence.
- Be available after hours to lead response to critical and urgent issues as needed. Occasional travel to field or office work sites

outside the headquarters zone will be required.

Salary Range

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $42.29-$58.35 Hourly,
$81,036.54-$111,819.24 Annually.
