Job Title : Production Supervisor (Fabrication)
Schedule :
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Friday: 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily assignments and workflow for fabrication employees.
- Plan and provide training for new hires, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Mentor team leaders and employees for skill development.
- Conduct meetings to address safety, quality, and employee concerns.
- Perform audits and delegate quality checks.
- Assist Fabrication Manager in reviewing drawings.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments for work schedules and resolve issues to improve productivity and quality control.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in hand tools and inventory management software.
- Welding, metal fabrication experience
- Must be good in reading blueprints, presses,shears, drill presses and cutting processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Compensation:
- Base: $70,000 - $80,000 (hourly with overtime)
- Bonus: 10%
- Benefits: Available after 90 days
- Vacation: 2 weeks initially (flexible based on experience)
- RPP: 4% employer match (eligible after 1 year)
